A delicate, pure Ottavianello from Apulia. The Ottavianello grape variety is synonymous with the southern French Cinsault and brings a fresh fruitiness and aromas of coffee and cocoa to the wine.

The Domaine des Masques is located 550 m above sea level on the Cengle plateau, protected by the Sainte-Victoire mountain range with an overwhelming panoramic view over the whole valley, completely secluded from the rest of the world. The name comes from the Provençal word for witch, because numerous medicinal plants thrive on the high plateau, which were used generations ago by herbalists and by so-called 'witches', Provençal 'Masco'. Today, this precious domain is managed by Carl and Sophie Mestdagh while preserving Provençal culture and tradition. They work together with the renowned oenologist Yves Cuilleron from Burgundy, who shapes the style of the wines. Of the 195 hectares, only 20 hectares are vineyards and the rest are olive groves, lavender fields and garrigue. A lot of free space for nature and no use of pesticides, herbicides and artificial fertilizers is the philosophy of the owners.

Fruity, precise red wine from the Portuguese Douro Valley. The grape varieties of the wine are Touriga Franca (60%), Touriga Nacional (30%) and Tinta Roriz (10%), exclusively the classic autochthonous grape varieties of Portugal. The wine is vinified exclusively in steel tanks.

Cerasuolo di Vittoria is the DOCG wine of the Vittoria wine region in Sicily and, for me, is one of the most elegant wines of southern Italy. Classically, Frappato contributes freshness, fruitiness and acidity to Ceraluolo di Vittoria in combination with the full-bodied Nero d'Avola. The typical grape variety distribution is 60% Nero d'Avola and 40% Frappato. Here the ratio is 50/50, which gives the wine precision. The Maggio winery works organically according to Demeter guidelines and produces fruit, grain and vegetables in addition to wine. The orange trees and narrow wheat fields at the edge of the vineyards also serve the purpose of shielding the vines from conventionally working neighbours.

Sicily is considered the cradle of Italian viticulture. Many of today's autochthonous grapes are descended from the ancient grape varieties cultivated at that time.

The Château Haut-Piquat is located in the Lussac Saint-Emilion growing area and was the first winery in 1972 taken over by the Rivière family. From the elegant wine cellar, the view over the surrounding hills is remarkable: hectares of vines and forest, especially on the hill of Picampeau, where there is also an impressive megalith. Today, the winery has 22 hectares of continuous vineyards on an excellent lime soil, as well as hills with various sand-pitted red clay formations. Here the noble grape varieties - 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc - can express their full potential. Sustainable cultivation has been practiced since 2001.

Burgundy wine (French: Bourgogne) is wine made in the Burgundy region in eastern France. The most famous wines produced here - those commonly referred to as Burgundies - are red wines made from Pinot Noir grapes or white wines made from Chardonnay grapes.

Super Sicily. From Pettineo’s vineyards, all along, come magnif cent grapes Nero d’Avola. The best grapes are carefully selected one by one with our hands. The extraordinary result of our hard work is a wine which is red cherry coloured and characterised also by some purple nuances and scents of red berry fruits. It’s a wine with a full bodied and soft taste with a long and persistent aftertaste. The vinification is 15 days maceration with marcs and fermentation at controlled temperature.  Ageing is 6 months in barrique and 3/6 months in bottle.

Manfred Braun's vineyard in the Mainschleife makes very classic Silvaner of excellent quality. The dry Spätlese is a dense, compact Silvaner with a fine aroma.

Dry Sauternes is still rare. But the wines will appear more and more often. The cuvée of 51% Semillon and 49% Sauvignon Blanc is immensely appealing in the dry version. White fruits, floral notes, aniseed and a nice sensation of saltiness that tends to come with Sauternes. A small part was in new barriques for 6 months.

Gattinara is a red wine with Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita status produced from Nebbiolo grapes grown in vineyards in the hills in the north of the province of Vercelli, northwest of Novara, and westward toward the Alps with the town of Gattinara near ist center. It is one of a few regions in Italy that have been awarded DOCG status and shares that distinction in Piedmont with the Barolo and Barbaresco regions. The hilltops of Sancerre vineyards spread through 14 villages. The two grape varieties  in Sancerre are the Sauvignon Blanc and the Pinot Noir. They have gained the AOC status in 1936. Castello Banfi is a family owned estate vineyard and winery in the Brunello region of Tuscany.  Castello Banfi wines are well known for combining high quality and value throughout their Tuscan region offerings. Château de Santenay is one of Burgundy’s largest wine domaines. The Tement winery has now achieved cult status for its precise, carefully organically handcrafted Sauvignon Blanc from Styria in Austria. The Ried Grassnitzberg is a closed basin at 300-420 m above sea level with a south-southeast orientation and sandy-loamy coral limestone weathered soils that originate from the 15 million year old Paratethys Sea. The strong night-time cooling of the vineyard allows cool, elegant wines with a spicy, mineral saltiness to mature.

Riesling is one of the noble grape varieties and is capable of producing a variety of extraordinary white wine styles, and is most known for the sweeter-style German wine it produces.  Although sweet wines dominate this category, there are some amazingly dry and complex wine is produced in Alsace, Germany and the United States. This grape variety dominates in Germany and the majority of the white wines produced there are made in the sweeter style. There is a classification system in place, which categorizes wines by their sweetness. From driest to sweetest, they are Kabinett, Spätlese, Auslese,  Beerenauslese and Trockenbeerenauslese. These whites range from the semisweet, lighter style to the extremely sweet, lush and dessert wine style. 

The steep slope of Layet has only been a VdP Grosse Lage since 2017. But the vineyard, which is only 0.8 hectares in size, has a long history. First owned by the Prince Abbey of Prüm for hundreds of years, it has belonged to the Nik Weis winery since 2006. Aromatically complex, mineral wines with grip from very old vines are typical of the location. The St.Urbans-Hof today covers 40 hectares and looks back on several centuries of wine-growing history. Fine, spicy aromas of elderberry, lilac and camomile make the wine stand out among comparable Rieslings (also agrees with Robert Parker).

The Hattenheimer Nussbrunnen is a large vineyard of the VdP (which corresponds to a Grand Cru). The name comes from a spring surrounded by walnut trees. The profound loess soil produces aromatically intense wines.

The Balthasar Ress winery has a rich history that began in 1870. Today the family business is one of the largest in the Rheingau. The vineyard area of ​​Balthasar Ress is 32 hectares. The main varieties grown on the farm are Riesling and Pinot Noir. The company's products have been awarded national and international prizes, which attest to the high quality and good taste of Balthasar Ress's wine better than words can tell.
