Description of the product
Sardinia’s best known red grape is Cannonau, a relative of the Granacha grape that originally came from Spain. The grape is grown all over this island, a special variety of what is generally known as grenache, producing explosive, potent wines. The great majority of the vineyards, and the highest-quality wines, are produced in a triangle that stretches along an idyllic coastline from Orosei to Bari Sardo, and into the wild mountainous interiors as far as Atzara.
With the 1968 Cannonau di Sardegna Riserva Speciale you will receive a wine profile with recommendations for opening, tasting, and storing the wine.
