1976 Chateau Mauvezin Grand Cru Classé St.Emilion Bordeaux

Chateau Mauvezin  date back 1741 as viticultural property, belonging to the Fontémoing family. After a succession of different owners Chateau Mauvezin became the property of Pierre Cassat in 1968. In 2014, the Cassat family sold the estat to the owner of Chateau La Gaffelier, Alexandre de Malet-Roquefort. The vineyard cover 5,400 hectares that reach as far as the Dordogne river to the south. This 3.5 hectare Bordeaux vineyard of Chateau Mauvezin in St. Emilion is planted to 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
