Built in the 16th Century at the Southern limits of the Cote de Beaune, the Chateau de Mercey belonged to the Berger family for four generations; the family developed the vineyard during this time. The Château’s vineyards joined Maison Antonin Rodet in 1989. The vineyard estate extends over 48 hectares principally on land around the Chateau itself with other vineyards in the Côte Chalonnaise.
