Description of the product
The DOC Valpolicella is a viticultural zone of the province of Verona, Italy, east of Lake Garda. The history of Masi is the history of a family and its vineyards in the Venetian regions. The name itself derives from "Vaio dei Masi", the small valley in Valpolicella acquired by the Boscaini family, who are still its owners now, at the end of the XVIII century. The hilly agricultural and marble-quarrying region of small holdings north of the Adige is famous for wine production. The red wine known as Valpolicella is typically made from three grape varieties: Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, and Molinara.
