Description of the product
Arneis is the typical white wine of Piedmont. The grape variety of the same name was already known in the 15th century. It is relatively low in acid and produces fragrant wines that can be drunk young and have fine fruit and a strong body at the same time. Because of its susceptibility to downy mildew, Arneis was almost extinct a few years ago. It has been experiencing a renaissance since the 90s. The DOCG Roero Arneis was finally created in 2005. Paolo Manzone and his wife Lusiella only decided to continue the family winery in 1999 and have relied on rigorous quality ever since. The winery cultivates 14 hectares of excellent vineyards in the vicinity of renowned winemakers such as Vietti.
