Mille e una Notte is the legendary wine that made Donnafugata suddenly famous. A crisis followed, then an investor saved and bettered the production but sold it again after. The new owner is the originator of the scandal of the late 90s: two years of the second wine of the house have been illegally manipulated. Then again it was sold to a new entrepreneur who brought it back to the old splendors.
