Located in the western part of the commune of Saint Emilion, the Château Cheval Brun estate benefits from a sandy, clay-limestone soil and a subsoil that favours drainage. Since 1875, the Rivière family has developed their estates in the purest tradition of Bordeaux wines. Concerned about the quality of the wines produced, the vines are grown with the greatest respect of their soil and terroir. The wine is matured in a modern vat room where the traditional fermentation lasts about twenty-one days.
