Beauregard is located just outside the village of Catusseau, opposite Château Petit-Village. In 1854 Beauregard was sold to M. Durand-Desgranges. replanted the vineyard, extended it to 14 hectares. The Durand-Desgranges family remained at Beauregard until 1920. The roots of the winery date back to 1897 when Lodovico Borgogno came into the family house and cellar to. When he died, Serio and Battista Borgogno inherited some land and a small farmhouse in Cannubi. Château Camensac borders on the Saint-Julien appellation, in the commune of Saint-Laurent-de-Médoc, surrounded by other excellent classed growths such as La Tour Carnet and Belgrave. Camensac means on the water's way, and comes from the words "camens", which means path or way and "ac", which means water in local dialect. In 1965 it was bought by the Forner brothers, who also own the well-known Marques de Carceres bodega in Rioja. The two brothers replanted most of the 85 hectares of vineyards, the balance now being 60% cabernet sauvignon and 40% merlot. Third Grand Cru Classé in 1855, Château Boyd-Cantenac was founded in 1754  by Jacques Boyd.
