Riesling is one of the noble grape varieties and is capable of producing a variety of extraordinary white wine styles, and is most known for the sweeter-style German wine it produces.  Although sweet wines dominate this category, there are some amazingly dry and complex wine is produced in Alsace, Germany and the United States. This grape variety dominates in Germany and the majority of the white wines produced there are made in the sweeter style. There is a classification system in place, which categorizes wines by their sweetness. From driest to sweetest, they are Kabinett, Spätlese, Auslese,  Beerenauslese and Trockenbeerenauslese. These whites range from the semisweet, lighter style to the extremely sweet, lush and dessert wine style. Veit is one of Piesport’s oldest winegrowing families. The vineyard has 7 hectares in and around the famous village of Piesport in the Mosel. 

The Gamaret is a matter close to Jean July's heart. The rare grape variety has its own character - good structure, tannins and distinctive fruit. Gamaret is a cross between Gamay and Reichensteiner that was created in Switzerland and is found in small quantities at its origin. Jean July only took over the Durette winery in 2007 and has turned his wines from 7 cru sites in Beaujolais into top wines that have won multiple awards.

Today, Susumaniello is almost exclusively found in Apulia, although it originally comes from Croatia. It was almost extinct because of its low yield. In the meantime, however, ambitious winegrowers are again relying on the red grape variety to produce extraordinary wines. The hot, sunny climate of Apulia softens the initially high acidity of the Susumaniello. The wine has a nice fruity spiciness. The resemblance to Sangiovese is noticeable.

From the bush trained vineyards, we always produce Frappato grapes for the production of “Vigna di Pettineo” selection. The Zibibbo is one of the most typical wines of Sicily. The Phoenicians probably brought the noble grape variety Muscat d'Alexandrie to the island. Often made sweet, Gibele is a dry, fruity, fresh white wine with an intoxicating scent of nutmeg. The Carlo Pellegrino winery was one of the first Sicilian producers of Marsala in 1880.

Sicily is considered the cradle of Italian viticulture. Many of today's autochthonous grapes descend from the ancient grape varieties cultivated at the time.

Domaine de la Solitude is one of the most traditional wineries in the Châteauneuf du Pape region. The oldest wine from La Solitude dates back to 1780 and the estate has been in the family since 400. The classic red wine of the Côtes du Rhône appellation is made from 50% Grenache, 40% Syrah and 10% Mouvedre.

The history of this famous appellation in the southern section of the Rhône is closely linked to the popes. From 1309 to 1377, the city of Avignon was the seat of the popes and from 1378 to 1408 of two counter-popes. One of them was Pope John XXII (1244-1334), born in Cahors, who chose Châteauneuf Castle as his summer residence and gave important impulses to viticulture. The 3,140-hectare area was the first state-recognised appellation in France.

The Innesto is a white pressed wine made from the red wine grape variety of Etna Nerello Mascalese. This gave the wine a nice full fruit. The Valenti winery is relatively young. It was only founded in 2004 and newly planted on almost 30 hectares. The soils are among the best on Mount Etna and in Sicily in general - Passopisciaro in the municipality of Castiglione di Sizilia.

Red wine from Anjou on the Loire is characterized by the Cabernet Franc grape variety, here supplemented by 10% Grolleau (Grolleau gives acidity = freshness, spiciness and cocoa notes). The ground is a deep gravel plateau interspersed with layers of slate. The highly rated Château Soucherie winery was once the castle of the Dukes of Brissac. The vineyards cover 28 hectares.

A typical Nebbiolo from the Roero growing region - powerful, fragrant, without wood aging. Pierangelo Careglio's winery is an ambitious family business that was founded in 1986 on very old vineyards with 9 hectares of vineyards.
