The Monnier family is situated in Meursault since 1720. Les Montrevenots is a Beaune Premier Cru vineyard in Burgundy. It is mostly planted with Pinot Noir, though a couple of producers make white wines from the small amount of Chardonnay on the site.

The vineyard is located at the very southern end of Beaune's Premier Cru vineyards, near Pommard. It is one of the highest premier crus in the commune, starting at around 300 meters.

Yields and density: 50 hl / ha with 10 000 plants / ha.
Terroir : located at the place called « Les Pellands » at the bottom of a gently sloping hillside. The vines are facing east at a height of 250 metres. Marly soils with stones ( chalky marls).
