The Rheingau single vineyard Kiedricher Sandgrub has a southerly orientation with only a slight slope and therefore gets a lot of sun. The Domlay vineyard in the municipality of Walporzheim belongs to the Ahr wine-growing region, which is considered the best red wine region in Germany.
