La Rose Pauillac was born in 1933 with the will of twenty growers coming together to make a great Pauillac. Pauillac is a small town that, since ancient times, sailors and winemakers has built on the edge of the estuary of the Gironde. In the 1960s, almost all small farms in Pauillac had joined this fine working tool and the wines reputation has spread beyond the local markets. Harvesting at La Rose Pauillac is selected according to each vineyards micro climate and the individual varietal down to the individual plot. Over time the small plots are meticulously maintained. An average benchmark of 10,000 feet per hectare perpetuates the old adage that the less place the vines have, less they produce, thus making the flagship wine, La Rose Pauillac, all the more concentrated and rich.

The Haut-Médoc is a Bordeaux sub-region, consisting of the area in the département of Gironde, on the left bank of the Gironde estuary, north of Bordeaux. Château Meyney is one of the oldest estates in the Médoc. In 1662, it was a Convent mentioned in records under the name Prieuré des Couleys. The estate belonged to the Luetkens family for several generations, and was then acquired by Mr Désiré Cordier in 1919.
Today, the estate stretches over some of the best hilltops above the Gironde Estuary. The vineyard of 51 hectares is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon 60%, Merlot 30% et Petit Verdot 10%.

Château Grand-Puy Ducasse was classified 5th growth in the famous 1855 classification. Three large plots in the best parts of Pauillac form the Pauillac, Grand Cru Classé en 1855 vineyard of this classified growth. This unusual configuration is a direct inheritance from the estate’s founder, Pierre
Ducasse, an eminent lawyer. In the 18th century he gave a single name to a fine vineyard holding, which was put together through inheritance and purchases. When he died in 1797, his son, Pierre, inherited a 60-hectare exploitation, named Ducasse-Grand-Puy-Artigues-Arnaud, of which two
third were planted with vines. The estate was classified in 1855, under the name of Artigues Arnaud.

The characteristic of the Pauillac terroir is its exceptional relief: the many undulating ridges make it unique morphologically speaking. Château du Tertre is one of the oldest properties in the Medoc region of Bordeaux. Early records show that the estate was owned by Thomas de Montaigne, a nobleman in the 1590's, and in the late seventeenth century the Marquis de Segur was the owner. 1n 1997, a Dutch businessman, Eric Albada Jelgersma bought the estate and invested in the large-scale overall restructuring, thus returning its former noble personality to the Chateau du Tertre. The vineyard is composed to 45 % Cabernet-sauvignon, 30 % Merlot, 20 % Cabernet franc, 5 % Petit verdot.

There are six communal appellations in the Médoc. Two of them, Moulis and Listrac, are little known because, unlike Margaux and Pauillac, they do not have a Grand Cru Classé.

Château Camensac borders on the Saint-Julien appellation, in the commune of Saint-Laurent-de-Médoc, surrounded by other excellent classed growths such as La Tour Carnet and Belgrave. Camensac means on the water's way, and comes from the words "camens", which means path or way and "ac", which means water in local dialect. In 1965 it was bought by the Forner brothers, who also own the well-known Marques de Carceres bodega in Rioja. The two brothers replanted most of the 85 hectares of vineyards, the balance now being 60% cabernet sauvignon and 40% merlot. They also renovated the cuverie and the cellars and hired the renowned Bordeaux oenologist Emile Peynaud as a consultant. he Merlaut family acquired Camensac in time for the 2005 vintage. Céline Villars-Loubet who owns Chasse-Spleen and her husband, Jean-Pierre Foubet are now in charge of the estate.

Since 1989 its original identity has been restored and it is now known as Château d'Armailhac. Baron Philippe de Rothschild bought the estate in 1933. D'Armailhac 50 hectares of vineyards are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (25%), Cabernet Franc (23%) and Petit Verdot (2%).

Franschhoek is located in the South African province of Western Cape. The name of the village means "French Angle" and refers to its foundation in 1688, when several hundred emigrated Huguenots from France settled in the small village. Some of them were winegrowers who quickly recognised the potential of the terroir and used it for winegrowing. In 1694, the French Huguenot Pierre Jourdan was given a farm, which he then christened Cabriere, named after his hometown in the south of France. In 1982, the estate was bought by Achim von Arnim.
The Franschhoek Valley is surrounded by mountains on three sides and receives late morning and long evening sun. This favours slow and balanced ripening, resulting in fruit-driven flavour profiles. The above-average rainfall and cooler temperatures compared to neighbouring regions contribute to the minerality of the flavour profiles.

Sociando Mallet takes its name from two previous owners. A nobleman known as Sociando held the property in 1633. Over a century later, the second part of the estates name came from a captain in the navy who owned the estate by the name of Mallet who put the two names together to form Sociando Mallet. The modern era of Chateau Sociando Mallet began in 1969, when the property was purchased by Jean Gautreau in 1969. The Château Labégorce winery is located in the municipality of Castelnau-de-Médoc in the Margaux area in the Médoc. Classified as "Cru Bourgeois Exceptionel" in the Bordeaux classification. The origin of the estate dates back to the 14th century, the name of an Abbot Gorce.
