La Rose Pauillac was born in 1933 with the will of twenty growers coming together to make a great Pauillac. Pauillac is a small town that, since ancient times, sailors and winemakers has built on the edge of the estuary of the Gironde. In the 1960s, almost all small farms in Pauillac had joined this fine working tool and the wines reputation has spread beyond the local markets. Harvesting at La Rose Pauillac is selected according to each vineyards micro climate and the individual varietal down to the individual plot. Over time the small plots are meticulously maintained. An average benchmark of 10,000 feet per hectare perpetuates the old adage that the less place the vines have, less they produce, thus making the flagship wine, La Rose Pauillac, all the more concentrated and rich.

Chateau Lafon Rochet in St. Estephe dates back to the middle of the 17th century. The estate was founded In 1650. While many Bordeaux vineyards were confiscated during the French Revolution, that did not happen to Lafon Rochet. The Left Bank estate remained the property of the same family for more than two centuries. In 1959 the Tesseron family purchased the estate.
The 45 hectare vineyards of Lafon Rochet consists in one single, large parcel with three soil types, limestone, marl and clay. Château du Tertre is one of the oldest properties in the Medoc region of Bordeaux. Early records show that the estate was owned by Thomas de Montaigne, a nobleman in the 1590's, and in the late seventeenth century the Marquis de Segur was the owner. 1n 1997, a Dutch businessman, Eric Albada Jelgersma bought the estate and invested in the large-scale overall restructuring, thus returning its former noble personality to the Chateau du Tertre. The classical dry red wine comes from the appellation Graves, Pessac Leognan in Médoc. Château La Louvière has 48 hectares (120 acres) planted to red grape varieties (64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot), and 13.5 hectares (33 acres) planted to white grape varieties (85% Sauvignon blanc and 15% Sémillon).

Graves (from French: gravelly land) is an important subregion of the Bordeaux wine region. Graves is situated on the left bank of the Garonne river, in the upstream part of the region, southeast of the city Bordeaux. The name Graves derives from ist intensely gravelly soil. The soil is the result of glaciers from the Ice Age, which also left white quartz deposits that can still be found in the soil of some of the top winemaking estates. Typical for the left bank wines (Médoc) is the blend of grapes with Cabernet Sauvignon as the predominant grape. The others are Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec.

third were planted with vines. The estate was classified in 1855, under the name of Artigues Arnaud.

Château Camensac borders on the Saint-Julien appellation, in the commune of Saint-Laurent-de-Médoc, surrounded by other excellent classed growths such as La Tour Carnet and Belgrave. Camensac means on the water's way, and comes from the words "camens", which means path or way and "ac", which means water in local dialect. In 1965 it was bought by the Forner brothers, who also own the well-known Marques de Carceres bodega in Rioja. The two brothers replanted most of the 85 hectares of vineyards, the balance now being 60% cabernet sauvignon and 40% merlot. They also renovated the cuverie and the cellars and hired the renowned Bordeaux oenologist Emile Peynaud as a consultant. he Merlaut family acquired Camensac in time for the 2005 vintage. Céline Villars-Loubet who owns Chasse-Spleen and her husband, Jean-Pierre Foubet are now in charge of the estate.
