Chénas is one of the 10 cru sites in Beaujolais, producing elegant, delicate and very long-lasting wines from the Gamay Noir grape variety. Château du Teigney is family-run in the fifth generation and now covers 33 hectares of vineyards in Langon in Graves. The wines from Graves established the fame of Bordeaux. Pinotage is one of the most typical grape varieties of South Africa. It was created by crossing Pinot Noir (Pinot Noir) and Cinsault. Pinotage is early ripening and has a high natural sugar content. The wine thrives best in hot and dry vineyards. A neighbouring estate of Lanessan, Château Lachesnaye is currently owned by the Bouteiller family as well in the commune of Cussac near Fort Médoc.
