Wine glasses
Not many different glass types are necessary: a large-volume one for red wines, a narrower one for white wines and one with an effervescent point so that sparkling wine can bubble up in the glass. ...
Purists invest in a very good all-round lens, like Zalto's Denkart. If you want to handle the wines even more elaborately, a distinction is made between glasses for full-bodied and for light but complex wines.
The highest level of quality are individually hand-blown glasses, which are handcrafted piece by piece. High-quality machine-made glasses such as those from Zwiesel are simpler.
