How is a wine vintage rated - what does that mean for an individual wine? The beauty of classic long-lived red wines is that they allow for very different taste experiences depending on their age and depending on the vintage.
But not only each vintage, but also the different wines and even the individual wine bottles of one and the same winery taste quite different.
The older the wines and especially the rarer the wines from a vintage, the more the state of preservation of each bottle matters.

Antique wine - wine store in Berlin with a long history
Built in 1952 in the old Stalinallee, the wine tasting room was one of the noblest wine stores in East Berlin.
Today the Stalinallee is called Karl-Marx-Allee and Antik Wein took the place of the wine tasting room. We want to keep the tradition alive with classic wines and preserve this amazing Unesco World Heritage Site.
