Silvaner from Franken, in South Germany is a dry white wine known for its mineral characteristics. In 1659, the cultivation of Silvaner was first documented in Germany, namely in Castell  in Franken. This variety can express its terroir almost as well as Riesling. In 1970, 23% of German vineyards were planted with the Silvaner grape, however in 2018, it made up only 4.6% of the country's plantings. Silvaner ripens about two weeks earlier than Riesling, likes average exposure to sunshine and needs moist soil. They are full-bodied, delicate, earthy and fruity tones wine with a mild acidity, makes Silvaner an excellent food match. The aromas often resemble flowers and plants, or melons, yellow plums and apples. 

Arneis is the typical white wine of Piedmont. The grape variety of the same name was already known in the 15th century. It is relatively low in acidity, produces fragrant wines to be drunk young, with fine fruit and at the same time a strong body. Due to its susceptibility to downy mildew, Arneis almost became extinct a few years ago. It has experienced a renaissance since the 1990s.
The DOCG Roero Arneis was finally created in 2005.
The sandy hills of the Roero wine-growing region in Piedmont, across from the Barolo heartland, lend themselves particularly well to Arneis.

Côtes de Bourg is an Appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC) for Bordeaux wine situated around the small town of Bourg-sur-Gironde near Bordeaux, France. The first vineyards in the area were founded by the Romans. In the Middle Ages, Bourg was a major port for wine and the vineyards developed at the same tempo as the estuary traffic. Red Côtes de Bourg are garnet in colour and are predominantly based on the Merlot grape, blended with smaller quantities of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Some Chateaux still use Malbec as part of the blend. The vine has been established in le Bourgeais for centuries and the current varieties have been selected because of their performance in relation to the soil. The Côtes de Bourg are characterized by the diversity and richness of their soils.
Although the Côtes de Bourg is composed of mainly clay and limestone soils, their make-up is so rich that there is a veritable mosaic of sand and gravel in the area around Pugnac. Three types are predominant. Firstly, the Sienna-red Quaternary alluvium that is quite specific to the region and situated more on the heights: Merlot and Malbec are widely cultivated. Merlot and Cabernet are planted on clay and sandy gravel soils while Merlot is also grown on the widespread areas of clay and limestone.

Pure Garnacha blanca from Catalonia (hence actually Garnatxa) from Capcanes in the DO Montsant fermented on the berry skins. Aromas of ripe peach and apricot, soft tannins and medium body.

The only wine-growing region that traditionally produces high-quality, sweet red wines is Georgia and the Kindzmarauli growing region there. Georgian wines are among the oldest in the world. The Kindzmarauli wine cooperative has also existed for centuries. Saperavi is the most important autochthonous grape variety from Georgia, Ukraine, Moldavia and Romania and produces spicy, medium-heavy wines with sophisticated wines. It is traditionally not only dry, but also semi-dry to sweet.

Chardonnay noticeably developed in the wood. The white wine matures in new oak barrels for 12 months and is allowed to age for 4-5 before drinking. The 34 hectares of vineyards for the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Blanc are located about 1 km from Pommard at an altitude of 300 meters on a flat slope towards the southwest. The vines in the “En Bignon” and “Sous le Bois Guillemain” plots grow on limestone-clay soils.

In Puglia there is a peculiar tradition for wines - the wines are succinctly named according to their alcohol content (and in this case that means their intensity): 14/20 is the classic balanced Primitivo with precise fruit and 14% alcohol. A Primitivo that is different from the mainstream: salty with herbal aromas, absolutely dry. If you know them, you can smell the typical wild capers of southern Italy. No wonder, the vineyards are only a few hundred meters from the coast. Le Fiatte is run by the 4th generation of the Bisci family. They only produce a small number of wine types - a Primitivo, a Fiano, a Negroamaro Rosé - but with consistency and independence in terms of quality.

Calcium-rich soil of corsican origin, enriched with red iron oxide (typical of the Salento soil). The limestone soils are cool and have good water retention, allowing the vines' root system to penetrate deeply and providing excellent drainage. After the first pressing, the grapes undergo a maceration of 8-10 days.

The red grape variety Primitivo is mainly cultivated in the southern Italian region of Apulia. It probably comes from Croatia/Dalmatia and was given its name in the 17th century by Benedictine monks due to its early maturity (Latin primativus = first-mover). From there it probably found its way to Italy and also to Germany via Austria under the name Blauer Scheuchner. Since it was first detected near the mountain town of Gioia, it is also called Primitivo di Gioia. It produces deep, dark, spicy and high-alcohol red wines and is often used as a blending partner for late-ripening varieties. Dolcetto ist ein wunderbares Mysterium. Der Name verweist auf Süßigkeiten und deshalb hat es der trockene Rotwein außerhalb des Piedmont, wo ihn die Leute kennen und trinken, schwer. Ich hatte schon vor Jahren gehört, dass Dolcetto einmal teurer war als Barolo. Erst jetzt beginne ich zu verstehen, warum das überhaupt sein konnte. Er ist ähnlich filigran wie gute Nebbiolo, dabei aber frischer und fruchtiger. Er ist zudem selten - beim Keltern sehr anfällig für Brettanomyces und so bei vielen Winzern vermieden.

Côtes du Rhône with incisive fruit (Grenache blueberry and red Syrah fruit) and a hint of black pepper. Domaine de la Solitude is one of the most traditional wineries in the Châteauneuf du Pape region. The oldest wine from La Solitude dates back to 1780 and the estate has been in the family since 400. The classic red wine of the Côtes du Rhône appellation is made from 50% Grenache, 40% Syrah and 10% Mouvedre.

The history of this famous appellation in the southern section of the Rhône is closely linked to the popes. From 1309 to 1377, the city of Avignon was the seat of the popes and from 1378 to 1408 of two counter-popes. One of them was Pope John XXII (1244-1334), born in Cahors, who chose Châteauneuf Castle as his summer residence and gave important impulses to viticulture. The 3,140-hectare area was the first state-recognised appellation in France.

The Traminer originally comes from South Tyrol, components of the Urtraminer can be found in Riesling and Grüner Veltliner. Gewürztraminer is one of the so-called aromatic grape varieties. On the nose you are greeted by strong and expansive aromas, which strongly emphasize the variety's typicality of roses, lilacs, white flowers and honeydew melon. The Gewürztraminer grape variety needs the best locations to show its best sides and a fine rose scent.

The castle ruins of Gössenheim stand on a large mountain made of wave limestone from the lower Muschelkalk. This characterizes the wines of the location. The soils are interspersed with small splinters of wave limestone and mixed with loess clay. The main location is below the castle ruins, the second, the Arnberg, is a hilltop to the south. The vineyard slopes slope to the south and have a slope of between 25 and almost 50%.

Louis Chavy's winery is part of the Compagnie des Vins d'Autrefois, i.e. the wines of yesteryear, the classic wines from Burgundy. The company includes many small but long-established wineries. Louis Chavy comes from Puligny-Montrachet, one of the best white wine regions in Burgundy.
The Crémant was selected by the Confrérie Chevaliers du Tastevin and was thus ennobled as one of the best wines of its kind. The Chevaliers du Tastevin from Burgundy are probably the most famous wine brotherhood in the world. It was founded in 1934 by Burgundian patriots to save their homeland from the then threatening economic decline or ruin by promoting wines.

The first hectare of vines in the Marne Valley was the dowry from the old family estate when the winemaker's son Gabiel married Baron Dolores Fuenté. Today, the resulting champagne house has 38 hectares, is highly rated and still family-owned. The Grande Réserve brut is the dry cuvée of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay and lay on the yeast for 36 months.

Fine Priorat from flagship winemaker Marco Abella with typical 55% Garnacha and 35% Carinyena, 10% Cabenet Sauvignon. Accessible with aromas of red berry fruits and spices.

Priorat is an ancient Spanish wine region that fell into oblivion with the phylloxera epidemic in the 19th century and was only rediscovered by young winemakers in the 1980s and became a cult. Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah
A captivating Supertuscan that combines the four red varieties selected in the history of Banfi come the best for our vineyards in Montalcino. The mild winter and the summer characterized by excellent temperature excursions between day and night, favored the excellent ripeness and quality of the grapes. Thanks to these conditions the wines are balanced and complex. The result is an austere and intriguing wine, with distinctly fruity and spicy fragrances. The aromas of licorice and pepper are accompanied by a slight hint of leather. In the mouth it is balanced, with sweet tannins and persistent hints

Castello Banfi is a family owned estate vineyard and winery in the Brunello region of Tuscany.  Castello Banfi wines are well known for combining high quality and value throughout their Tuscan region offerings. Here the Cremant Blanchette is called: Since 1938, Blanquette de Limoux has been an AOC for sparkling wine with traditional bottle fermentation. The Blanchette is a very elegant cuvée made from Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and the southern French grape variety Mauzac. Due to the long fermentation, the Eglise St. Martin develops a bright golden color with a fine, long-lasting perlage. Fresh aromas of yellow peach, honeydew melon and jasmine.

The classical dry red wine comes from the appellation Graves. Graves (from French: gravelly land) is an important subregion of the Bordeaux wine region. Graves is situated on the left bank of the Garonne river, in the upstream part of the region, southeast of the city Bordeaux. The name Graves derives from ist intensely gravelly soil. The soil is the result of glaciers from the Ice Age, which also left white quartz deposits that can still be found in the soil of some of the top winemaking estates. Typical for the left bank wines (Médoc) is the blend of grapes with Cabernet Sauvignon as the predominant grape. The others are Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec.

The Gambino family winery, founded in 1978, is the highest on the Etna volcano. The vineyards are above Linguaglossa between 500 and 1400 meters above sea level! A rare Arneis Reserve! The wine shows the full potential of the white grape variety with a longer maturation period and longer shelf life. Contrary to what one might expect, the Riserva is also exclusively in the stainless steel tank and the bottle. Arneis is the typical white wine of Piedmont. The grape variety of the same name was already known in the 15th century. It is relatively low in acidity, produces fragrant wines to be drunk young, with fine fruit and at the same time a strong body. Due to its susceptibility to downy mildew, Arneis almost became extinct a few years ago. It has experienced a renaissance since the 1990s.
The DOCG Roero Arneis was finally created in 2005.
The sandy hills of the Roero wine-growing region in Piedmont, across from the Barolo heartland, lend themselves particularly well to Arneis.

Pierangelo Careglio's winery is an ambitious family business that was founded in 1986 on very old vineyards with 9 hectares of vineyards. Typical for Roero is the sandy soil with clay and limestone parts. The wines from here are more aromatic and robust than their relatives from the Barolo region.

Brut nature zero dosage 100% Chardonnay. Später-Veit is one of Piesport’s oldest winegrowing families. The vineyard has 7 hectares in and around the famous village of Piesport in the Mosel. 

Christian Collovray and Jean-Luc Terrier have their roots in Burgundy and produce excellent white wines in Maconnais. Floral and a little white pepper characterize the mineral white wine from the Mâcon La Roche Vineuse appellation.

Named after the town of Mâcon on the Sâone River, the area with around 5,400 hectares of vineyards is part of the Burgundy region. The Roman poet Ausonius (310-395) already mentioned the wines from this area. In the 11th and 12th centuries, the Cistercians planted vines here on a large scale. The area became famous in 1660 when the winemaker Claude Brosse delivered wine to Versailles and was noticed by the French “Sun King” Louis XIV (1638-1715) at a trade fair there because of its size. The king spoke to him, tasted his wine after mass and was so enthusiastic that the royal court was regularly supplied with it. The area stretches along the Sâone in a 15 kilometer long strip. There is also a place called Chardonnay here, suggesting that the grape variety may have originated in this area. The Mâconnais is best known for its juicy white wines made from Chardonnay with portions of Aligoté and Pinot Blanc, two-thirds of which cover the vineyards. The red wines are made from the Gamay and Pinot Noir grape varieties.

Present fruit with fine tannins from the 1er Grand Cru winery Château Belair Monange. The grapes from the young vines flow into the wine, which is classified as Grand Cru Saint Emilion.

Château Belair is a 1er Grand Cru Classé and neighbor of Château Ausone. It has an extraordinary history: since the 15th century, Belair was owned by the influential Canolles family, which even survived the expropriations of the French Revolution. In the 19th century it was one of the most sought-after wineries of all. Then a change of ownership and the phylloxera disaster destroyed the winery's primacy. Of course, it always remained at the 1er Grand Cru level. In 2008 Belair was bought by the Moueix wine dynasty (Pétrus and many more).

Côtes de Bourg is an Appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC) for Bordeaux wine situated around the small town of Bourg-sur-Gironde near Bordeaux, France. The first vineyards in the area were founded by the Romans. In the Middle Ages, Bourg was a major port for wine and the vineyards developed at the same tempo as the estuary traffic. Red Côtes de Bourg are garnet in colour and are predominantly based on the Merlot grape, blended with smaller quantities of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Some Chateaux still use Malbec as part of the blend. The vine has been established in le Bourgeais for centuries and the current varieties have been selected because of their performance in relation to the soil. The Côtes de Bourg are characterized by the diversity and richness of their soils.
Although the Côtes de Bourg is composed of mainly clay and limestone soils, their make-up is so rich that there is a veritable mosaic of sand and gravel in the area around Pugnac. Three types are predominant. Firstly, the Sienna-red Quaternary alluvium that is quite specific to the region and situated more on the heights: Merlot and Malbec are widely cultivated. Merlot and Cabernet are planted on clay and sandy gravel soils while Merlot is also grown on the widespread areas of clay and limestone.
