The classical dry red wine comes from the appellation Margaux in Bordeaux. Château d`Issan is a 3éme Cru Classé Margaux estate. The beautiful château from the 18th century is surrounded by a moat and is frequently described as the most romantic in the Médoc. The winery has been owned by the Cruse family since 1945 and is presently owned and run by Emmanuel Cruse. The vineyard of D'Issan has 52 hectares planted with Cabernet Sauvignon (70%) and Merlot (30%).
