Description of the product
The Freinsheimer Oschelskopf vineyard in the Palatinate is a hilltop. The Scheurebe white wine variety, named after Georg Scheu and bred by him in 1916, is a cross between Riesling and the bouquet grape. When fully ripe, its grapes can produce white wine with a subtle and racy aroma reminiscent of blackcurrant and grapefruit. The wines of the Scheurebe are often made sweet as an Auslese, Beerenauslese, Trockenbeerenauslese or as an ice wine.
With the 1979 Freinsheimer Oschelskopf Scheurebe Spätlese comes a personal present meant for a person who is very special to you.
